KSOU Distanc M.Com

The Distance Master of Commerce (M.Com) at Karnataka State Open University is a course offered at postgraduate level. The program gives learners advanced knowledge of commerce, business management, finance, and accounting. It is delivered entirely in distance learning mode which makes higher education in commerce accessible to students and working professionals across different locations.

The entry criteria to be eligible for this course are as follows:

• B.Com /B.B.M. /B.B.A. Degree Students or equivalent 

                              Or 

• A bachelor’s degree (3 years) in any discipline from any recognized University is accepted. 
• Level 1* students have to pass the Master’s Preparatory Program examination.

Note: * There is admission through two levels - level 1 and 2. Level 1 is for those students who have graduated in a non-related subject. 

There is no EMI option available at KSOU but the fee of every program is affordable and pocket-friendly. Instead of EMI options, KSOU offers various scholarships and financial aid to students from minorities, tribal welfare departments, and so on.

The examination pattern of KSOU consists of internal assessment and end-term examination which are divided according to the weightage of marks they carry individually, and they are combined and evaluated at the end of every semester. Internal assessment carries 20-30% of weightage which is decided by the university and a notice is circulated to the students through their official website the students can submit their internal assessment online or at the dedicated regional study center allotted by the university.
